A Jenga guest book, taco buffet, cake and donuts, and a Second Line were all part of the unique elements of Alissa and Kaycie’s Watergarden Inn at the Bay Wedding.
We arrived early as usual because one can never be certain of parking in Downtown St. Petersburg. After settling in and meeting all our fellow vendors we got straight to work. We started with capturing all the fun and chaos that is getting ready. Kaycie was on the ball and good to go! This gave her some time to relax and enjoy the moment with her friends and family. Alissa was in the midst of hair and makeup and slightly nervous about our fickle Florida weather. It did rain as usual but cleared up just in time for their outdoor ceremony under a tent. Alissa and Kaycie shared a tender private moment pre ceremony and we captured it all. After the ceremony which included one of my favorite elements a hand fasting, we returned to the front porch area for formal portraits. Then it was time for some fun with the bridal party as we took a walk towards Straub Park. Afterwards we focused on just the newlyweds with the banyan trees as a backdrop and then made our way back.
The reception was a whirlwind of fun and food with dancing, toasts, poolside games, tacos and donuts. We ended the night with a festive New Orleans style Second Line Parade where the guests danced behind the brides with keep sake napkins waving in the air. It was such a lovely event and we are proud to have played our part. Enjoy Alissa and Kaycie’s Watergarden Inn at the Bay Wedding sneak peek.
