Marcia & Robert’s Hilton Garden Inn Wedding, Lakeland, Florida

We knew after working with Marcia and Robert for their Ybor engagement session that their wedding day was going to be full of smiles and laughter.
They did not disappoint. We started out with them getting ready for their special day. They had a large bridal party, eleven ladies and gents all suiting up to stand witness to Marica and Robert’s love. That made for slightly tight spaces in the getting ready rooms. However, this group of people were so easy going and friendly that there was never an issue and we all tried our best to accommodate each other. Afterwards Brian and I felt like we were old friends with many of their family and friends, even before the ceremony! I see this as a true testament to how wonderful people both Marcia and Robert are. The ladies were all looking elegant as they finished their looks for the day. The gentlemen were all very handsome in their suits. As Brian and I left them all for a quick breather before the ceremony began, we made our way to the ball room. Wow is all I can really say. Blossom Events did a fantastic job. Every inch of this ball room was transformed into something elegant and beautiful. White sheer drapery on the ceiling and walls, vibrant up lighting by Michael Anthony Productions and spot lighting to highlight the centerpieces and the beautiful cake by Cake Designers. The procession began with a young woman dancing to a sweet song that spoke of Marcia and Robert’s love, then the gentlemen and ladies entered, topped off with the Bride escorted by her uncle. Another uncle performed the ceremony and the two were announced husband and wife. Once the guests were enjoying cocktail hour, Brian and I got quickly to work on the formal portraits of Marcia and Robert’s families, bridal party and then finally some sweet moments of the two of them. Then it was time for Madd Vybez to take things over and get the party going. They had a lovely MC who made announcements and guided events while DJ Sacha Fraser kept the music pumping. It was a great night, one that I am sure Marcia, Robert and all their guests will remember fondly for years to come. Enjoy their sneak peek.
