This wedding was awesome! There, I said it. We love our time with Emily and Jeff. They are such a cool couple and their love is real and genuine. Now, add in a vintage car, a beach ceremony, dining al fresco AND the DJ who did our wedding…. Yeah, it was pretty spectacular.
We started things off with getting ready. This occurred at two different homes that were literally a canal away from each other. Luckily we had constant communication so we could take advantage of the outdoor settings without having either of the couple catch a glimpse of the other. Afterwards it was time to head to the beach. We knew traffic and parking could be an issue so we made sure to plan accordingly. Once we were all set it was go time again as we captured the details of the reception venue as well as set up for the ceremony. A family friend did a great job with the ceremony making it more personable and memorable for the happy couple. After the formal portraits of family and bridal party we spent some quality time with the newlyweds ocean-side. Then it was time for Ben from Grant Hemond to take the wheel and get the party going! Introductions, first dances, toasts and then some time to relax, eat and enjoy each other’s company. We took some more time with that awesome car, because it was too fantastic to pass up. Ben kept the dance floor hopping making sure that a variety of music was played for everyone’s tastes. It was a wonderful night and Brian and I are so please to play our part in it.
