I honestly don't know where to start. I know Brian is better known as the talker between the two of us, but I manage to get a word or two in there when the opportunity arises. Here is my opportunity and... well I'm a bit befuddled. You see, Danielle and Ari became more than clients. They became friends, people we cared about, as well as their families. Perhaps I should go back in time a bit to explain myself better.
We first met Ari at his sister's wedding where we were honored by being her wedding photographers. This is where our relationship with their family began and we all got along marvelously! So when Danielle and Ari contacted us to be their wedding day photographers, we could not be more pleased. Our first opportunity to work with Danielle and Ari one on one, or in our case, two on two, was during their engagement session at the University of Tampa. If felt like meeting up with old friends.
There was plenty of laughter and joking as we captured their images for them. Speed forward to their wedding day and by this point the friendship had solidified.
We started off as we normally do with getting ready images. Danielle and her ladies were well into the thick of it with hair and makeup. We caught some candids of the action as well as familiarized ourselves with the set up of the day. You see, this certainly wasn't our first time photographing at Postcard Inn but regardless of how many times we have worked at any particular location, we always arrive early and we always make sure to see first hand the areas we will be working in.
After Danielle was dressed and ready to go (of course we caught those moments as well) we escorted the ladies to the lobby were we photographed some romantic portraits of the bride and some fun images the all the ladies together. Then it was time to move on and meet with Ari and the gents. Brian made sure that ties were perfect while I aided with the boutonnieres. After some groom's portraits and group portraits, it was time for the ceremony.
It was a beautiful day for an outdoor ceremony and I think everyone enjoyed the warm sun. The vows were touching and there was even a chuckle or two. We followed that with formal portraits then Brian took the newlyweds to the beach as I prepped for the introductions for the reception. The lawn at Postcard Inn makes for a unique outdoor reception site. The hanging lights give everything a romantic soft glow.
The reception included delicious food, hugs and laughter and lots of dancing. You could tell that everyone was really enjoying themselves. Brian and I are truly honored to spend this most important day with Danielle and Ari and wish them all the best in the future.
Enjoy their sneak peek! ~Derica
